What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Engineer - R&D join our team at Dishwasher Product Directorate.
- Support mechanical design and development activities for home appliance products (e.g., dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator)
- Design and develop plastic and metal components considering functionality, manufacturability, and cost
- Create 3D models and technical drawings using CAD tools
- Contribute to product validation through mechanical tests (lifetime, vibration, load, thermal cycling)
- Analyze mechanical performance and identify design improvements
- Support DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and root cause analysis activities
- Work closely with materials, production, quality, and suppliers during product development
- Participate in cost reduction and design optimization projects
- Follow new technologies, design trends, and competitor products in the home appliance industry
The position is located in Ankara.
How we describe the perfect fit?
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with plastic part design and sheet metal design is an advantage
- Experience with CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA) is a plus
- Understanding of manufacturing methods (injection molding, stamping, assembly) is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Open to innovation and continuous improvement
- A proactive team player with strong ownership mindset
- Internship or academic project experience in product design or home appliances
- Basic knowledge of CAE tools (FEA, structural or thermal analysis)
- Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of testing standards and validation processes
