What awaits you in this role?

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety requirements and HQ guidelines.
• Promote effective communication and awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Develop and coordinate the annual HSE training plan and ensure its successful implementation.
• Lead hazard identification and risk assessment activities across the factory.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct HSE internal audits and workplace inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
• Ensure the proper functionality and periodic inspection of safety devices and emergency equipment.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation required for internal and external audits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate Health & Safety Committee meetings and follow up on action plans.
• Monitor and report HSE KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage contractor safety in accordance with company procedures and HSE legislation.
• Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Inspect workplaces, machinery, and equipment to ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Lead machinery safety inspections and maintain related checklists.
• Develop, maintain, and test emergency response plans for fires, explosions, and natural disasters.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the direct manager.
