What awaits you in this role?

We’re looking for a Senior Direct Purchasing Specialist who will join our team at the Purchasing Department.

• Manage and oversee end-to-end purchasing activities for direct materials and components required for home appliance production.
• Lead coordination with Material Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to ensure material availability and uninterrupted production.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring effective management of cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Lead quotation analysis and support commercial negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and cost-reduction targets.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments, proactively identifying and resolving material shortages and supply risks.
• Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives and coordinate corrective actions related to quality, delivery, and commercial issues.
• Analyze purchasing data, market trends, and supplier pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and support sourcing decisions.
• Ensure accurate purchasing data, supplier information, prices, and purchase orders are maintained in SAP/ERP systems.
• Prepare and analyze purchasing KPIs, including supplier performance, delivery performance, price variance, cost savings, and material availability.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, procedures, approval processes, and applicable company requirements.

This position is in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt.

How do we describe a perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Direct Purchasing of production materials and components.
• Experience in the Home Appliances, Automotive, Electronics, or other manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier management, strategic sourcing, quotation analysis, price negotiation, purchase orders, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong understanding of production requirements, material planning, supply chain processes, and supplier performance management.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP purchasing systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make sound purchasing decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to build long-term supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, delivery, and service.
