What awaits you in this role?

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Direct Purchasing Specialist who will join our team at the Purchasing Department.

• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for direct materials and components required for home appliance production.
• Coordinate with Material Planning, Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance to ensure timely material availability and uninterrupted production.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective management of cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotations and support price negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments, proactively addressing potential material shortages and supply risks.
• Support supplier development and improvement activities, including follow-up on quality, delivery, and technical issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data, supplier information, prices, and purchase orders through SAP/ERP systems.
• Prepare purchasing reports and analyze key indicators such as supplier performance, delivery performance, price changes, and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, procedures, approval processes, and applicable requirements.

This position is in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt.

How do we describe a perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or other related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in Direct Purchasing of production materials and components.
• Experience in the Home Appliances, Automotive, Electronics, or other manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier management, quotation analysis, price negotiation, purchase orders, and cost-reduction activities.
• Good understanding of production requirements, material planning, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP purchasing systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
