What awaits you in this role?

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Material Planning Specialist who will join our team at the Material Planning Department.

• Manage material planning activities and ensure material availability according to production requirements.
• Monitor and coordinate material flow between suppliers and the factory, including materials sent for subcontracting and processing.
• Plan and coordinate transportation activities between suppliers and the factory to ensure timely material delivery.
• Optimize truck utilization and transportation costs while maintaining efficient material flow.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, material shortages, and potential supply risks, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate material, inventory, and stock information through SAP.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal departments, including Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Warehouse, to ensure smooth material flow.
• Monitor material planning performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain processes.

This position is in 10th of Ramadan, Egypt.

How do we describe a perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or other related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Chain, or Logistics, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on SAP experience is mandatory, with good knowledge of material planning and inventory processes.
• Good understanding of MRP, inventory management, material flow, and production planning requirements.
• Experience in transportation coordination and supplier delivery management is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-up skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, organized, and results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
