What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Associate-Purchasing – Mechanical Components who will work for Beko Global Purchasing Directorate.

• Implementing and executing a category strategy for mechanical components materials, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a consistent and sustainable approach,
• Optimizing costs through analysis, supplier development and sourcing activities,
• Analyzing cost breakdowns, identifying, and executing cost reduction projects,
• Making risk analysis, preparing, and executing business plans for necessary precautions,
• Developing sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers,
• Leading/supporting supplier transformation programs for automation, manufacturing, and quality systems,
• Benchmarking of productivity and costs with overseas factories of Beko and adapting best practices in each location.

The position is located in Sütlüce, İstanbul.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing/Management Engineering
• Master’s/Doctorate Degree is a plus
• Strong knowledge of MS Office programs and SAP
• Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Willing and able to work in a dynamic environment and motivated to be a self-developer
• Having experience in project management cost reduction project
• Following and adopting the market trends and new technologies
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
• Being open to communication is always our priority
