What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for an Associate - Purchasing (Metal Process) who will join our team at Purchasing Directorate.

• Proactive and inquisitive, with a strong willingness to challenge the status quo to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with different business units to understand and fulfill their requirements for requested items and services.
• Develop sourcing and negotiation strategies that support business objectives and build sustainable relationships with suppliers.
• Create competitive supplier environments to support negotiation strategies.
• Build strong relationships and effectively partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders and external suppliers to influence change.
• Plan, conduct, and finalize all commercial negotiations for project-based purchases.
• Closely follow technological developments and identify new opportunities for cost innovation and efficiency improvement projects.

The position is located in Sütlüce, İstanbul.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering 
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a must, expertise in SAP is a plus,
• Data-driven decision making and reporting skills
• Following and adopting the market trends and new technologies,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset,
• Being open to communication is always our priority.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
