What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Head - Software (Chapter Lead) who will join our team at Washing Machine Plant Directorate in Beko Corporate.
- Develop embedded software for electronic boards according to product needs, or ensure that it is carried out by other internal Beko groups or outsourced firms in compliance with international and Beko standards.
- Prepare requirement files and specifications for electronic board designs, and establish standards.
- Evaluate customer demands and ensure annual, monthly, and daily design and verification plans are prepared and implemented to produce the requested products fully and on time.
- Ensure that serial production approvals (domestic and international markets) are completed fully and on time according to project and production plans.
- Ensure preparation and reporting of the department’s investment budgets.
- Ensure preparation and reporting of the department’s expense budgets.
- Ensure laboratory product and material stocks remain at optimum levels in line with the company’s financial targets, and guarantee consistency of system transactions for accurate accounting records.
- Coordinate R&D departments of overseas operations.
- Ensure monitoring and implementation of product safety standards.
- Ensure monitoring and implementation of product performance standards.
- Achieve service failure rate and cost improvement targets for components under responsibility.
- Ensure that team members’ objectives are defined in line with department goals, and that employees create proper action plans by setting priorities accordingly.
- Determine resource needs and how they should be structured for execution of tasks under responsibility.
- Define expected performance standards for the team and share them with the team.
- Check compliance of the team’s working methods with instructions, regulations, and procedures.
- Monitor team members’ performance and provide regular feedback.
- Ensure organisational commitment and team spirit within the team, and create an environment that enhances interest and motivation.
- Provide coaching to team members to support their development.
- Encourage collaboration between own team and other organisational units.
- Represent the organisation in internal and external groups on matters related to the field.
- Ensure that team members’ development plans are defined in line with department goals, and that they participate in development activities accordingly.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of department leave plans.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, standards, and Beko OHS procedures in areas of responsibility, and prevent nonconformities during audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements in areas of responsibility, and guarantee implementation, monitoring, and auditing of Beko Corporate procedures.
The position is located in Manisa, Türkiye.
How do we describe the perfect match?
- Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, or Electrical-Electronics Engineering,
- Knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials/product tree),
- Knowledge of SAP and ERP,
- Advanced level of English,
- Project management,
- FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis),
- Knowledge of production processes and production equipment,
- Knowledge of technical drawing,
- Ability to take initiative,
- Process management.
